• This is NOT a forklift Operator position, this is a Forklift Mechanic/ Heavy Equipment Mechanic position

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of forklifts and heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in forklift technology.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics preferred.
• Proven experience as a forklift mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
