Job Description
Our client, a major American multinational law firm, is looking for a Temporary Email Marketing Specialist to join its Marketing Technology team. The Specialist will deliver exceptional customer experience to their clients in the email channel. Responsibilities will primarily include setting up and deploying emails for event invitations, announcements, alerts and other external marketing deployments. Additionally, this role will be responsible for configuring marketing campaigns or journeys, audience segmentation, A/B testing, deploying emails, maintaining consent center topics, and assisting with marketing technology projects for the firm as part of the department's core marketing support structure. This job will start ASAP and continue for about 3-4 months. It is mandatory in office Tuesday and Thursday with your choice of the third day, while the other 2 days are WFH. Pay rate is $40-45/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Managing request to build email marketing and event marketing campaigns in Microsoft Dynamics Customer Insights Journeys and Cvent.
- Build emails based on direction from Client Development and internal stakeholder's input
- Responsible for testing and getting approvals of drafted emails before stakeholder review
- Building event registration forms based on stakeholder specifications.
- Segmenting email audience for specific journeys
- Configuring journey pathways and dates of sends
- Providing guidance on email best practice including ways to increase engagement, adjustments to audience list, etc.
- Managing email project intake and pipeline in conjunction with other email marketing team members.
- Work with the greater Marketing Operations and Technology team for connected email metrics
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, and language usage, as well as standard business correspondence formatting.
- Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent proof-reading skills.
- Quick learner and self-starter, who is detail oriented, independent, creative and dependable.
- Proficient in excel.
- Strong computer skills, including web-based research and Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Ability to develop and foster successful, working relationships with legal and professional staff while providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- HTML knowledge.
- Adapts to new technology and can apply new technology in new and creative ways.
- Working technical knowledge of Email tools such as Dynamics, Vulture, Constant Contact, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo or Pardot
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years' experience working with business users in an email marketing, or CRM (MS Dynamics 365, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) environment; Profession working knowledge of digital marketing.
- Experience in marketing/business development and business intelligence reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) a plus.
- Occasional evening work.
